      <image:caption>It’s flattering when clients call me artistic but I see what I do as much more about science/chemistry and LISTENING. Not that there isn’t a creative component to what I do, but I feel I am much more rule-abiding when it comes to color formulation, etc. I am attracted to natural color design and I tend to suggest and deliver results that are easy to maintain and suit a client’s skin tone, eye color, lifestyle, etc. I always consider the integrity of the hair first, too, so I don’t mesh well with clients looking to make dramatic changes in one visit. I don’t embark on anything that I don’t believe in. In this case, for me, the customer isn’t always right. We have conversations about realistic expectations in which I provide honest feedback. I don’t get this at home with a husband and three children, but in the studio, my clients who follow my advice are the happiest. I will not steer you wrong! I promise!</image:caption>

Sunflowers remind us to lean toward what truly nourishes our soul and aligns us with our higher purpose. I act accordingly in all my client interactions. If you are a new color client, you MUST book a BLOWOUT in addition to the color service(s) you select; this includes any clients who have not been in for a service in over a year. (If you are booking a cut in addition to your color, however, there is no need to add a blowout as this is complimentary with the cut.) If this is booked incorrectly, I will cancel the booking and send an email requesting you to rebook correctly. You may not see the same times offered. Leaving your first color appointment with dry hair helps me to ensure your color is spot-on when you leave. Only existing cut and/or color clients can book stand-alone blowout appointments. If you are a new client and I have not/do not cut or color(ed) your hair, you cannot book a stand-alone blowout. If I see a stand-alone blowout appointment booked by a new client, I will cancel this booking. I do not cut children’s hair, do barbering/clipper cuts/fashion colors (if you want blue hair, purple ombre, etc. I’m not your gal…). I also do not provide updos/bridal services, keratin or apply/work with hair that has extensions (includes clip-ins). I do not even keep hairspray or bobby pins in the studio. A quick visit to my Instagram will give you a good sense of whether or not we are a good match! Additionally, I do not reply to inquiries regarding the application of color that you would bring to the salon. It is a service that I do not provide. **Please do NOT wear a hooded sweatshirt to your appointment unless you have something underneath that you can keep on when you take it off. It is crucial to get familiar with these policies to help avoid any disappointment. NO SERVICES will be rendered to clients who are accompanied by children under 13 years of age. This will constitute a NO SHOW and you will be charged 50% of the service appointment.   My services are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Only EXISTING cut &amp;/or color clients can book stand-alone blowout appointments. I do not provide bridal, extension or updo services. Not one bobby pin can be found on the premises so please do NOT ask! Additionally, I do not provide any barber services (this means no clippers/men’s cuts), nor do I cut children’s hair. (over 13 is fine) I do not respond to inquiries regarding the application of color that you would bring to the salon. It is a service that I do not provide. I do, however, allow clients to bring a special shampoo or styling product should they have unique allergies. This only applies to shampoo/conditioner and styling products—not to color products. You can cancel and reschedule appointments by going back in to your original appointment text or email and click from there. I prefer this method and then second preference is to email me that you have to cancel if for some reason you can’t find your original email. It is important to understand that RESCHEDULING an appointment less than 48 hours is considered a LATE CANCEL….if you must reschedule an appointment, please do 48 hours before the appointment or the same cancellation fee will apply for the late cancel…. Cancellation/Late Rescheduling/No Show Fees -Cancellations and Rescheduling of more than 48 hours will result in no fees. All clients receive appointment confirmations via text and/or email at least 3 days (72 hrs) before their appointment.  If you book your appointment less than three days from the date, you usually will not receive a confirmation.   -Less than 48 hour notice ("Late Cancels" and “Late Rescheduling”) will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.  Fee will be charged to the credit card you must store on file when you originally book your appointment.   -“NO SHOWS” will be charged 50% of the reserved service amount.  Fee will be charged to the credit card you must store on file when you originally book your appointment. If the CC card fails to go through to collect a NO SHOW fee, you are not welcome to make a future appointment. IMPORTANT: If you book multiple service appointments and upon arrival, do not fulfill that commitment, you will be charged 50% for the services that you do not complete.  For example, if you booked a haircut, a single process and a full balayage and then upon arrival decide you only want the balayage, you will be charged 50% of the haircut and the single process or whichever service for which you cancel.  Please return to your appointment email at least 72 hours before your visit to adjust your appointment if you feel you may no longer need a service or email me 48 hours before so I can adjust it. This will respectfully allow other clients on a waiting list to book a service in the time slot that you no longer require.   Late Policy: I reserve the right to request clients to reschedule for arrivals 15 minutes or more past a scheduled appointment time. If you arrive so late where we cannot perform the service and have to reschedule, you will be charged the 50% NO SHOW cancellation fee.
